SOQUE BBQ is looking for a creative storyteller with a strong eye for photography and video to capture our food, people, and restaurant atmosphere.

Social media is a major part of our culture. We need someone who can turn a busy day at SOQUE into content that makes people want to visit—from behind-the-scenes barbecue preparation to beautifully shot food photos and engaging videos.

What you’ll do

• Shoot and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Photograph food, drinks, team members, and restaurant events.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments, kitchen action, and the personality of our team.
• Bring original content ideas and help plan regular shoots.
• Guide team members who may need help getting comfortable on camera.
• Write captions and help organize, schedule, and publish content.
• Work with management to highlight specials, events, and brand priorities.
• Respect employee and guest privacy and obtain permission before filming or featuring people.

Who we’re looking for

• A strong portfolio of photography and video work; restaurant, food, hospitality, or lifestyle experience is a plus.
• Confidence with lighting, framing, audio, and editing.
• Experience creating engaging vertical videos.
• Ability to capture both polished promotional content and natural, spontaneous moments.
• Someone dependable, organized, comfortable taking initiative, and able to work in an active restaurant environment.
• Availability to capture content on-site in Fairhope, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
