Php Developer

PHP Developer (Core PHP & MySQL)

Experience: 2+ Years | Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on PHP Developer with 2+ years of experience building and maintaining websites using Core PHP and MySQL. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full stack from front-end markup to back-end logic to live deployment — and can take ownership of a project from development through to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain websites/web applications using Core PHP and MySQL
• Build responsive front-end pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Write clean, secure, and optimized database queries
• Deploy and manage websites on live servers (upload, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Debug and fix issues across front-end and back-end
• Collaborate with designers/other developers to implement requirements
• Maintain basic documentation of code and deployment steps

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Core PHP (procedural/OOP, non-framework)
• Strong working knowledge of MySQL (schema design, queries, joins, optimization)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Practical experience deploying websites to live/production servers (cPanel, VPS, FTP, or similar)
• Familiarity with AJAX/jQuery
• Basic understanding of Git or other version control
• Good debugging skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up development, and able to critically review, test, and verify AI-generated code before using it

Nice to Have

• Exposure to a PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter)
• Basic Linux server administration
• Understanding of REST APIs
