Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and related frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.

Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability, working extensively with MySQL.

Implement and maintain robust APIs for seamless integration with various internal and external systems.

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.

Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection decisions.

Ensure the application scales to handle millions of users and massive datasets effectively.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

Extensive experience with the Laravel framework is a must.

Proficiency in database design and development using MySQL, with a deep understanding of query optimization for large datasets.

Experience working with live user bases, understanding the challenges and requirements of user-facing applications.

Experience handling and processing millions of data points efficiently

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a JS framework like Vue.js or React) is a plus.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
