PHP Developer (Laravel / CodeIgniter) – EatEasy

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services in PHP (CodeIgniter / Laravel), including REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Maintain and enhance legacy PHP systems, refactoring toward cleaner, scalable code where needed.
• Design, write, and optimise MySQL queries and schemas for high-volume transactional data.
• Work alongside frontend developers on React applications and contribute to frontend features where required.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, QA, and other developers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Debug production issues quickly and provide long-term fixes.
• Ensure smooth deployments and maintain Git workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2–5 years in PHP web development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core PHP and OOP.
• Production experience with a PHP framework (CodeIgniter / Laravel preferred).
• Solid MySQL skills – schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and basic DevOps (CI/CD, deployments).
• Solid debugging and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Highly Desirable

• Hands-on experience with React (functional components, hooks, routing, state management).

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Redux, TypeScript, or Next.js.
• Exposure to AWS / cloud environments.
• Payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, PayPal, etc.).
• Prior experience with food delivery, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms.
• Performance optimisation (backend and frontend).

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
