PHP Developer----Need 4-6 years of exp with PHP development

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong database knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience developing and maintaining PHP-based applications, working with MySQL databases, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Experience with GLPI is highly desirable, but candidates with a strong willingness and ability to learn GLPI are also encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based applications and systems.
• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases, including writing efficient queries and improving database performance.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues across application and database layers.
• Customize and extend GLPI functionalities based on business requirements.
• Perform system integrations and API development when required.
• Investigate reported issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Continuously improve system performance, security, and usability.

About you

• Strong experience in PHP development.
• Good knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good fundamentals in software programming.
• Experience with debugging and resolving complex technical issues will be desirable.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
• Hands-on experience with GLPI (IT Asset Management, Service Desk, and ITSM platform).
• Experience with GLPI customization, plugins, workflows, and integrations.
• Knowledge of Linux server environments and web servers such as Apache or Nginx.
