PHP Full Stack Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PHP Full Stack Developer to build and maintain dynamic, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, front-end technologies, and database management. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications and APIs.
• Work with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Build responsive front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and web services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
• Implement security measures to protect against common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PHP and at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, and optimization.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and hosting environments.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
• Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in PHP development.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
