Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled WordPress / PHP Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress development, plugin development, and front-end and back-end web development. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing websites while delivering secure, responsive, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and applications.
• Build, customize, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins and themes.
• Handle both front-end and back-end web development.
• Develop and maintain custom functionalities using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create responsive, user-friendly website interfaces.
• Customize existing plugins and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Optimize website performance, speed, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and maintain existing websites.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugin architecture.
• Experience in custom WordPress plugin development and customization.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and REST API.
• Familiarity with website security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and custom e-commerce functionality.
• Knowledge of website hosting, cPanel, and deployment processes.
