Description

We are looking for an experienced PHP WordPress Developer to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to build responsive, high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize WordPress functionality and third-party themes/plugins as per project needs.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented PHP code implementing OOP principles.
• Develop secure, scalable web applications using WordPress CMS PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter).
• Integrate third-party APIs, RESTful services, payment gateways, SMS, etc.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases, perform backups.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and PMs to deliver on time.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and regularly audit websites for performance security.
• Use Git for version control maintain staging/production environments.
• Optimize websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility stay updated with latest trends.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP WordPress (themes plugins).
• Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles.
• MySQL knowledge including optimization database design.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, ACF.
• Familiarity with Git JSON/XML data handling.
• Understanding of SEO, security, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently collaboratively in a fast-paced team.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with headless WordPress or REST API-based apps.
• Knowledge of AJAX, CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with cPanel, WHM, server management.
• Exposure to Shopify, Magento, or other CMS platforms.
