PHP/Laravel Developer (Full Stack) - Hybrid

About the Role

We're looking for a PHP/Laravel Developer with strong backend experience to join a growing SaaS environment. You will primarily focus on developing and maintaining backend applications, APIs, integrations, and business logic while also contributing to frontend development using React.js.

Work Schedule & Set up

Hybrid Setup (Onsite for the first 30 days, then 3 days onsite & 2 days WFH)
Work Location: Picadilly Star Building, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
Mid Shift : Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP/Laravel
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Build and integrate third-party services and systems
• Develop scalable backend solutions and business logic
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bugs, and improve application performance
• Work with databases and backend architecture to support reliable applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to frontend development using React.js when required
• Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and development practices
• Work within a cloud-based environment and contribute to scalable application development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with PHP/Laravel
• Strong backend development experience with PHP as a hands-on part of recent roles
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of databases and backend concepts
• Experience with third-party API/system integrations
• Working knowledge of React.js
• Experience working in cloud-based environments; AWS is preferred
• Experience with Kubernetes/K8s is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment

• Airline, travel technology, booking platforms, transportation, hospitality, or similar transactional platforms
• Microservices and event-driven architecture
• Automated testing and clean code practices
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
