 Job Qualifications

We are looking for Philippine Registered Nurses (PHRN) with an active PRC license and the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of acute hospital experience in any of the following specialties:

  • Operating Room (OR)
  • Cath Lab
  • Endoscopy

• With medical coding experience in any of the following:

  • Inpatient Coding
  • Outpatient Coding
  • Surgical Coding
  • Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI)
  • Clinical Abstracting
  • Medical Records Review

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Successful candidates should have:

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret clinical documentation for accurate code assignment
• Strong clinical documentation and medical record review skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Highly Preferred: PHRNs with combined experience in OR, Cath Lab, or Endoscopy and medical coding, clinical abstraction, or documentation review. Candidates with coding certifications (CPC, CCS, CIC, CRC) are an advantage.
