About the Position

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Installation Helper to join our physical security installation team. This position involves assisting experienced technicians with the installation, removal, and servicing of specialized security equipment at financial institutions, including banks and credit unions.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment, and eager to learn a specialized trade. No prior experience in the security industry is required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation, removal, and replacement of physical security equipment.
• Handle and position heavy equipment, including cash safes, night depositories, ATMs, and teller equipment.
• Assist with the installation of drive-through equipment, including Remote Teller Systems (RTS).
• Load, unload, transport, and stage equipment and materials at job sites.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment under the direction of lead technicians.
• Assist with equipment anchoring, mounting, leveling, and securing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and job-site instructions.
• Travel to customer locations as required, occasionally involving overnight stays.
• Work collaboratively with installation teams to complete projects efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs, with team lifting and mechanical assistance for heavier items).
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation to the company location.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently when assigned tasks and follow directions from lead technicians.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as project schedules require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, electrical, low-voltage installation, mechanical work, or general labor.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
• Experience working in commercial or industrial environments.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
