The Physical Security Associate supports BancFirst's branch network — over 100 locations across Oklahoma — by carrying out Physical Security Reviews under the bank's formalized risk-scoring model, manual, and field review process. This position works directly alongside the Physical Security Officer, sharing responsibility for the full review cycle: on-site assessments, documentation, executive reporting, and issue-resolution tracking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scenario-Based Guidance & Exercise — Assist with facilitating scenario-based guidance and exercises to reinforce branch preparedness, employee response, and physical security best practices.

  • Documentation and Reporting —  Document review findings accurately and completely, and assist in preparing Executive Summary reports for branch Presidents, CSOs, Managers, and Regional Executives.

  • Issue Tracking —  Track identified issues through to resolution, following up with branch personnel as needed to confirm corrective action is completed.

  • Collaboration —  Partner with the Physical Security Officer on process improvements, training support for branch Presidents and CSOs, and other physical security initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, risk management, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Prior experience in physical security, risk management, banking operations, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured scoring models and standardized documentation.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports for a range of audiences from branch staff to executives.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular).

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Oklahoma, including overnight travel as needed.

Physical Requirements

Constant use of computer screens

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday

Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
