  • Assist in security assessments, hardening, and remediation plans for networks and systems, as requested by clients.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable security‑related legal and regulatory frameworks impacting client systems in New York.
  • Support incident response efforts when client environments experience security events, in coordination with client counsel and/or their incident response process.

E. Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as technical point of contact for key clients on complex issues and projects.
  • Translate technical concepts into business‑oriented language for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical recommendations and options, documenting trade‑offs for client decision‑makers.
  • Participate in client meetings, demonstrations, pre‑sales support and post-sales support.

F. Mentoring & Internal Improvement

  • Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and technicians; deliver formal and informal training sessions.
  • Review and approve complex changes, implementations, and designs from junior staff.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal standards, procedures, and templates.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and services that improve security, reliability, and efficiency.

G. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all systems, configurations, and changes.
  • Provide regular status reports on incidents, projects, and system performance metrics.
  • Ensure that all work is logged and tracked in the company’s ticketing and documentation systems.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints to facilitate accurate system installation and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate security systems seamlessly into building infrastructure.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, repairs, and upgrades for compliance and future reference.
  • Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise on system features, benefits, and integration options during client consultations.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies related to low-voltage electrical systems.

Qualifications
