Physical Security Specialist (Arise IDC)

Responsibilities

• Manage all physical security systems, including CCTV, biometric access control, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and perimeter security.
• Lead Security Operations Center (SOC) functions as they relate to the physical site; manage guard force scheduling, training, and performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security breaches or emergencies. Lead investigations, draft incident reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the facility remains compliant with global standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. Conduct regular internal security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Oversee third-party security contracts, ensuring high service levels and strict adherence to site protocols during maintenance or upgrades.
• Perform ongoing Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) to identify weaknesses in the facility's posture and propose technical or procedural solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in high-value asset protection, with at least 3 years specifically in a Data Center or critical infrastructure environment.
• Deep familiarity with enterprise-grade security platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, S2) and visitor management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/law enforcement experience).
• Good command of English communication skills.
