Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is available as Full-Time and Per Diem. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and care team
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Florida PTA license (required)
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
