Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

Joetta’s Jovial Home Health Agency is seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team in Florida.

Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide in-home physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist patients with improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and independence while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide treatments and therapeutic exercises according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Assist patients with mobility, strengthening, balance, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team.
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and applicable Florida requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patients' homes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.50 per hour
