Position Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant the PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to implement treatment plans, assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, and ensure a high standard of care in a collaborative environment.

Location: Elgin, Illinois

Status: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, Days and Evenings (No Weekends)

Expected Starting Pay: $28.50 - $35.00/Hour (minimum to mid-point, based on experience)

Essential Job Functions

• Implements treatment programs designed by a physical therapist to ensure quality patient care
• Maintains complete and accurate records pertinent to patient treatment to assure proper documentation and to be in regulatory compliance
• Maintains professional skills/competencies to effectively and progressively meet the demands of the position
• Provide clinical instruction to students when assigned Incumbent is expected to comply with safety policies and procedures, regulatory requirements such as OSHA and to participate in corporate-wide and department safety activities
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in department meetings.
• Attend mandatory educational programs.
• Follow established guidelines as stated in departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment TB and drug screen, background check, and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
