Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and committed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in physical therapy, patient care, various therapies, physical therapy billing and insurance coverage, and and anatomy. Experience with pain management patients is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients with chronic pain conditions.
• Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training to promote recovery and improve function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment interventions accurately and thoroughly.
• Educate patients on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention strategies, and proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with Physical Therapist to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to the development of effective care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Proven experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and various physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Experience with pain management or therapy plans to assist with chronic pain, preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
