Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and certified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing support during therapy sessions. Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' mobility and strength
• Monitor patients' progress and document changes in their condition
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience in occupational health, acute care, or hospital settings is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
• Familiarity with trigger point therapy is a plus

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
