Physical Therapist Assistant

Alpine Home Health Services is seeking a reliable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health visits in and around:

San Andreas, Mountain Ranch, Arnold, Valley Springs, Jackson, Ione, and Angels Camp.

This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys flexible scheduling, one-on-one patient care, and working independently in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Follow established PT plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfer training, balance training, strengthening, and fall-prevention education
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Document visits accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Communicate patient progress or changes in condition with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a home health schedule
• Home health experience preferred, but not required

Position

PRN / Part-Time PTA – Home Health

Flexible scheduling available. Visit assignments can be coordinated based on your preferred coverage area and availability.
