Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. Your role will involve assisting with patient care, implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and coordination
• Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
• Instruct patients on proper use of assistive devices and therapeutic equipment
• Monitor patients' progress and document treatment outcomes
• Communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-care techniques

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with occupational health and acute care settings
• Experience in providing patient care and implementing treatment plans
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is a plus
