Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

Territory: Alleghany, Bath, and Highland Counties, Virginia

Nayar Health Care is now hiring a PRN Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to serve patients throughout Alleghany, Bath, and Highland counties. We are seeking a compassionate clinician who enjoys flexibility, independence, and providing patient-centered care in the home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services in patients’ homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Carry out established treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and patient mobility goals
• Monitor and communicate changes in patients’ conditions and progress
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate and support patients and caregivers throughout the recovery process
• Coordinate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Travel throughout Alleghany, Bath, and Highland counties to provide patient care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PTA license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
• Home health experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
