Physical Therapist Assistant

We are looking for a licensed, compassionate, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team at Axis Therapy Services in College Station, Texas. This position is primarily an orthopedic role.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with various orthopedic conditions.
• Implement POC with therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise and recovery strategies.
• Utilize and be willing to learn manual techniques as needed to promote healing such as trigger point release and joint mobilization to address specific deficits.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Valid Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Excellent communication and patient centered care skills.
