Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy modalities.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards and medical terminology.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment used during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to coordinate care plans and discharge strategies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and post-treatment care to promote independence and recovery.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently, ensuring all medical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Support inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facility, home health, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and acute care settings by providing targeted therapy interventions aligned with client goals.
