Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients in outpatient clinic setting.

Duties

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Participate in discharge planning and contribute to the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical information.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience
Candidates should possess a background that includes:

• Experience in outpatient pediatric clinics, pediatric prescribed extended care settings.
• Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Previous involvement in discharge planning processes is preferred but not required.
• Physical therapist assistant state license required

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
