Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Autumn Lake at Riverview | Essex, MD $34–$39/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Riverview. Work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals while providing hands-on care that helps residents build strength, improve movement, and work toward greater functional independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide residents through strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT
• Observe resident response to therapy and communicate progress and concerns
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely treatment documentation
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals

Qualifications

• Active Maryland PTA license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is a plus, but not required
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
