Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality physical therapy services in the home setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care and physician orders
• Carry out therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities
• Observe, assess, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition promptly
• Accurately document visit notes and treatments in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with all Medicare, state, and agency regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Home health experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while following supervision guidelines
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
