  • Assist clients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, balance activities, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Address physical limitations affecting mobility, transfers, posture, coordination, and participation in daily activities through prescribed therapeutic interventions.
  • Support neurodivergent individuals and individuals with IDD through individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Assist clients with the appropriate use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and mobility supports.
  • Educate caregivers, family members, and support staff on prescribed therapeutic exercises, safe mobility techniques, positioning, and strategies to promote functional independence.
  • Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care.
  • Observe and document client responses to treatment, functional progress, and changes in condition, communicating relevant findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including daily treatment notes and progress updates within the PTA scope of practice.
  • Communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding treatment effectiveness, client progress, and any concerns requiring reassessment or modification of the treatment plan.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, supervision requirements, professional standards, and payer documentation requirements.
  • Travel to assigned client locations throughout the Las Vegas area.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Nevada.
  • Strong clinical treatment, patient care, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to provide services independently within the PTA scope of practice while maintaining appropriate supervision and communication with a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between client locations.

Compensation & Opportunities

  • Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
  • Flexible scheduling based on client needs and availability.
