Physical Therapist Assistant – PTA

American CareQuest, a fully accredited Home Healthcare Agency serving home-bound patients is actively looking for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of dedicated clinicians.

Location: San Francisco and Peninsula (San Mateo County)

Schedule: Per Diem positions.

Unlimited Earning Potential: We offer competitive wages and do not limit over-time hours.

If you have *NO EXPERIENCE* we will provide training!

• Administers treatment programs as communicated in writing by the supervising Physical Therapist and reports on treatment effectiveness and equipment in accordance with physician’s orders.
• Records and reports patient’s reaction to treatment and/or changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising Physical Therapist, the Clinical Team Manager, the patient’s physician and other disciplines involved in the case.
• Under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist, obtains and receives physician orders.
• Flexible Scheduling
• Per Diem position schedule so that you can control how much you make with our Pay-Per-Visit structure
• Complete electronic charting of treatment in compliance with policy

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year Physical Therapy (PTA) experience
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within the team of care providers and clients
• Valid Driver’s License

Required license:

• Graduate from a physical therapy assistant curriculum approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current California Physical Therapy Assistant license
• CPR (Required)
