PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (BARTLETT)

Suburban Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our Bartlett location.

At Suburban Physical Therapy, our team of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are devoted to providing evidence-based manual and therapeutic exercise techniques that are tailored toward efficiently returning patients, athletes, and employees to their pre-injury status.

Experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are preferred, but New Graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship and best practice training are provided for all new hires and continues throughout the course of their professional career with Suburban Physical Therapy.

Position Summary:

Physical Therapist Assistants provide physical therapy treatment in accordance with the plan of care established by the physical therapist and recommends changes in treatment plans to the supervising physical therapist based upon the patient's condition and response to treatment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successful graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of an Illinois state Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligible.
• Preferred 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• NEW GRADUATES are welcome to apply.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and families in providing therapy and exchanging patient progress/condition information.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, to include two evenings to accommodate patient needs.

Pay: $60,000 - $73,000 per year dependent upon experience
