Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA Per Diem

Overview: 

A Per Diem (primarily weekday coverage) Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Glens Falls, NY.  Once part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local rosters as you wish.  Must have SNF experience.

The Pines at Glens Falls is a 5-star Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation center located in Glens Falls, New York. This is a 120-bed facility with a 40 bed "Passport to Home Unit". The therapy department consists of a caring team of strong clinicians who work well together to achieve positive outcomes for the patients. The therapists focus on returning people to the community as well as keeping our long-term Residents functioning at their maximum functional potential. Facility is close to Lake George with many attractions year round. Great area for food, entertainment and shopping!

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will:

·    Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting

·    Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment

·    Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

·    Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation

·    Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation

·    Work well with others in a team setting

·    Be flexible with hours.
