Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility assessments and functional limitations
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedic interventions, neurology therapies, and geriatrics care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care strategies
• Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community environments
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, treatment exercises, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing recovery
• Assist in the development of care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics, and patients with neurological or orthopedic conditions

Skills

• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, or home health environments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
• Expertise in treatment plan development for various conditions such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Proficiency in outpatient rehabilitation center operations and outpatient clinic experience
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems management
• Ability to perform discharge planning effectively while working with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent client communication skills to educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
