  • Meaningful one-on-one patient care with older adults
  • In-house therapy model focused on quality over productivity quotas
  • Strong mentorship and hands-on training for new graduates
  • Opportunity to grow professionally in a company that invests in you
  • Rewarding work helping residents remain independent and age in place

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you’ll provide evaluations, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services to residents within our Assisted Living community. Your work will directly improve mobility, confidence, safety, and independence—helping residents continue living comfortably in the place they call home.

You’ll work with a diverse geriatric population and collaborate closely with caregivers, nursing staff, families, and fellow therapy team members to create personalized treatment plans that truly enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations in accordance with APTA and state standards
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with realistic, patient-centered goals
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions focused on strength, balance, mobility, safety, and functional independence
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on mobility strategies and fall prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional resident care
  • Help create a warm, positive, and encouraging therapy environment

What We’re Looking For

  • A compassionate therapist who enjoys working with older adults
  • A team player who values positivity, collaboration, and relationship-building
  • Someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a strong company culture
  • New graduates welcome—we provide mentorship and training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current North Carolina Physical Therapy license in good standing
  • Experience with geriatric, dementia, or Alzheimer’s populations preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping residents improve quality of life and maintain independence
