Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, home health environments, and community-based programs. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or manage chronic conditions through evidence-based physiotherapy practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
• Implement treatment strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to coordinate care and optimize recovery pathways.
• Manage clinical documentation standards by accurately recording patient progress, treatment details, and discharge planning in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation.
• Participate in discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transition from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community care environments.

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, or home health environments.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neurological cases, and orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation center operations and outpatient clinic experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and current best practices in physiotherapy.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management systems such as EMR systems for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Knowledge of discharge planning procedures and working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
