Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that align with clinical standards and patient goals.
• Administer evidence-based treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and modalities suited to each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers—to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems following clinical documentation standards.
• Provide discharge planning and education to patients and their families to support ongoing recovery at home or in community settings.
• Manage outpatient rehabilitation programs for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and post-surgical patients.

Requirements

• Valid license or certification to practice physical therapy in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to various specialties such as orthopedics and neurology.
• Experience with outpatient rehabilitation center operations and outpatient clinic workflows.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
• Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
• Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on treatment procedures and promote adherence to care plans.
• Demonstrated capability working with geriatric patients and managing home & community care programs.
