Physical Therapist

Physical Therapy & Beyond, a division of Michigan Ear Institute, is seeking a part-time Vestibular Physical Therapist, who will deliver specialized, patient‑centered care to help individuals overcome dizziness, balance disorders, and mobility challenges.

This is a part-time opportunity - this role will work 20 hours over 2.5 days, Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays)

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive functional assessments
• Developing customized treatment plans
• Providing evidence‑based vestibular rehabilitation that improves function and quality of life
• Documenting clinical findings and progress
• Patient education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

• Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

• Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

• Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

• Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

• Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

• Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan

• 1 -5 years’ experience preferred especially in Balance Training & Vestibular Rehabilitation

• Experience in Manual Techniques is a plus

• Familiarity with Athena/WebPT is a plus
