What they need
Physical Therapist — Outpatient Orthopedics | Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation, P.C., Downtown Colorado Springs, CO
Part-Time, with room to grow into full-time
At Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation, we built this clinic around a belief: physical therapists do their best work when they're trusted to think like clinicians, not chase productivity numbers. If you've ever felt boxed in by unit quotas or a schedule someone else controls, this role is built differently.
About us
We're a small, independently owned outpatient orthopedic clinic that has served Colorado Springs for over 20 years. No corporate productivity targets, no visit quotas dictating your day — just quality patient care and PTs who are supported in doing it well.
About the role
This is a part-time position to start, with a real path to full-time as your caseload grows — a great fit for a PT who wants to build something alongside us rather than step into a rigid, already-maxed-out schedule. You'll have genuine autonomy over how your day and caseload are structured, backed by a clinic that invests in your growth every single week.
What you'll do
- Manage your own outpatient orthopedic caseload from eval through discharge
- Build and control your own schedule — including how much time you spend with each patient
- Participate in weekly mentorship sessions focused on hands-on skill development
- Present and discuss case studies with the team to sharpen clinical reasoning together
- Collaborate with a small team that prioritizes outcomes over volume
- Help shape how we treat, schedule, and grow as we build out your hours
What we're looking for
Required:
- Current PT license (or eligibility) in Colorado
- Comfortable managing an outpatient orthopedic caseload independently
Nice to have:
- Orthopedic clinical experience or a strong interest in manual therapy and sports rehab
- Interest in mentoring or being mentored — we embrace a culture of ongoing skill-sharing, at any experience level
We welcome PTs at any stage of their career — new grads looking for real mentorship and experienced clinicians who want autonomy back are equally encouraged to apply.
Compensation
This role is production-based: you keep a percentage of your collected billing. Based on typical caseloads here, that generally works out to an estimated $50–$75/hr equivalent. We're glad to walk through exactly how this works, and why we structure pay this way, during the interview — it's a model that rewards clinicians who do great, efficient work rather than clinicians who just fill a schedule.
