Physical Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and be committed to providing high-quality care to patients across different settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home community care. This role requires expertise in developing individualized care plans and facilitating discharge planning for patients of all ages, with a particular focus on geriatrics and pediatrics.

Duties

• Assess patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and medical history.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy, to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication throughout the treatment process.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and preventative measures to maintain health.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to other care settings.

Experience

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Previous experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and rehabilitation systems is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices is expected.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
