Physical Therapist

About the Job

We are looking for a reliable and caring Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at East Moline, Mt Sterling, IL, and/or Pontiac locations (either location or any combination)

This part-time position is based in a prison/correctional healthcare facility. You will work to help patients improve movement, strength, balance, and daily function.

Duties

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Create treatment plans of cares.
• Track patient progress and collaborate with other medical team members
• Complete patient notes and documentation on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional treatment area.
• Follow all facility rules, security procedures, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Work respectfully with patients, medical staff, and correctional staff.

Requirements

• Current Illinois PT license
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Candidates preparing to take their PT board exam may also be considered.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a secure correctional setting.

Preferred

• Physical therapy or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required.
