Seeking an energetic physical therapist interested in specializing in the Schroth Method!

Position: Full-time physical therapist, on site patient care at Hey Clinic for Scoliosis and Spine Care

What is the Schroth method?

Schroth is an evidence based type of PSSE (physiotherapeutic scoliosis specific exercise) that has been shown to reduce the risk of curve progression for individuals with scoliosis, as well as reduce pain, improve postural symmetry, and restore functional ability within the scoliosis and kyphosis population.

Who do we treat?

We are a spinal deformity clinic, specialized exclusively in treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis, as well as providing pre-op/post op PT needs for our surgical patients.

Our model involves:

• A holistic team approach to patient care with PT, Orthotist, and Orthopedic surgeon in house, with weekly huddle to communicate patient care and quality improvement needs
• Hour long treatment sessions of one-on-one patient care in a private treatment room
• Opportunity to provide much needed specialty care to an underserved population

Who can apply?

Doctor of Physical Therapy with active NC license. While spine care experience is preferred, we are open and willing to train an eager new graduate if we meet the right candidate. We will pursue certification in the Schroth Method (with a service commitment) and provide you with the needed training and mentorship with our current Schroth Therapist.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
