We’re seeking a Rhode Island licensed Physical Therapist to serve Westerly and Charlestown, with nearby communities such as Ashaway and Richmond included as scheduling and availability allow.

We have clients waiting for care in Westerly and Charlestown, offering an immediate opportunity to build a geographically focused caseload.

Work That Connects Therapy to Everyday Life

At INSPIRE, treatment takes place where clients use their skills every day—getting out of a favorite chair, navigating the kitchen, walking outside, or safely entering and leaving their home.

You’ll work primarily with older adults with a range of abilities and needs, from people recovering from injury or surgery to those living with progressive neurological conditions. Your care may focus on restoring function, maintaining abilities, improving safety, or helping a caregiver feel more confident.

Our clinical areas include:

• Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions
• Stroke recovery
• Multiple sclerosis
• Balance difficulties and fall prevention
• Vestibular conditions
• Orthopedic recovery
• Aging well and maintaining independence

You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and families while developing treatment plans that reflect their goals, routines, and priorities.

Your Role

• Complete physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide skilled treatment in clients’ homes and communities
• Educate clients and caregivers to support safety and carryover between visits
• Collaborate with our PTAs and other members of the care team
• Complete timely documentation and communicate changes in client needs
• Help clients move better and maintain independence through thoughtful, evidence-informed care

A Territory That Makes Sense

Your primary service area will be Westerly and Charlestown. We work with clinicians to build schedules that consider where they live, their availability, and client needs.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island Physical Therapist license
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to individualized care and timely documentation
• Comfort working independently while staying connected to a collaborative team
• Experience in outpatient, home health, skilled nursing, or neurological rehabilitation preferred
