Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with various physical therapy needs, including assessing range of motion, strength, flexibility, and balance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating modalities, exercises, and manual therapy techniques
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
• Conduct resident assessments and develop discharge plans, ensuring seamless transitions
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry advancements

Requirements

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
• Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
• Part-time schedule (exact hours to be discussed during the interview process)
