Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN

PRN Physical Therapist shifts focus on managing daily mobility evaluations and treatment plans in the rehab gym. Therapists coordinate directly with occupational therapy partners and nursing staff to carry out rehabilitation goals and record progress notes. Coverage needs center on physical therapy sessions and functional discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and document resident functional progress in electronic medical records
• Deliver direct physical therapy interventions targeting strength, balance, and gait training
• Partner with occupational therapists and nursing personnel to coordinate daily treatment schedules
• Complete timely clinical documentation and billing logs following each patient session
• Instruct residents and family members on safe movement techniques prior to discharge

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Starting at $52–$62/hr, scaling upward with experience
• Schedule: PRN (As-needed shift pickup)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
• Must pass a standard criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
