Physical Therapy Aide

Location: Woodstown, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20–30 hours per week
Availability: Must be available to work Wednesdays

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare.

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists and help create a positive, supportive environment for our patients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and takes pride in providing excellent patient support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities under the direction of the physical therapist
• Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment for therapy sessions
• Assist with patient flow and help ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and ready for use
• Observe patients during treatment and communicate relevant observations to the supervising therapist
• Provide friendly, compassionate support to patients throughout their therapy experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Wednesdays
• Interest or experience in patient care, particularly in orthopedic, geriatric, outpatient, hospital, or clinical settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
• Ability to follow directions and work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology preferred
• Relevant coursework, certification, or experience in physical therapy, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field is a plus
