Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and assist with setting up therapy equipment for patient sessions
• Support physical therapists during patient assessments and therapeutic exercises
• Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and session details in compliance with healthcare standards
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment spaces
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and fostering a positive environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is highly preferred, especially in outpatient or inpatient environments
• Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively support therapy sessions
• Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or post-acute care is advantageous
• Strong understanding of acute care, hospital medicine, and sub-acute care practices
• Ability to handle intake procedures efficiently while demonstrating excellent patient service skills
• Familiarity with outpatient clinics or orthopedic rehabilitation settings enhances your suitability for this role
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care through compassionate communication and attentive support
