Physical Therapy Aide

Overview

Are you interested in healthcare, fitness, rehabilitation, or helping others reach their goals? We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced clinical environment and wants hands-on exposure to outpatient physical therapy. You will work alongside physical therapists and other clinic staff to help create a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and functional activities under the direction of licensed clinical staff.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Clean and disinfect exercise equipment and treatment spaces between uses.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, organization, and a safe environment.
• Restock supplies, manage towels and laundry, and assist with inventory.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with scheduling patient appointments.
• Complete routine documentation and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, and fellow team members.
• Help maintain an efficient clinic flow while ensuring patients feel welcomed and supported.
• Follow HIPPA guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy healthcare setting.
• Comfortable working with people of different ages and abilities.
• Interest in physical therapy, exercise science, athletic training, kinesiology, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Previous healthcare, fitness, customer service, or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
