Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary

Workmans compensation and personal injury office seeking a dedicated and compassionate physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role you will work closely with the licensed physical therapist, massage therapist, acupuncturist, nurse practitioner, and physician.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans
• Implement various physical therapy treatments
• Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during treatment sessions
• Document treatment progress accurately following clinical documentation standards
• Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, and answer questions

Qualifications

• Active license as physcal therapy assistant in Ohio
• Demonstrate ezperience in outpatient clinic setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and physiotherapy techniques
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse patient populations across age groups
• Familiarity with workmans compesation is a plus
• Familiarity with medical equipment operation relevant to physical therapy treatments and discharge planning processes.
