Role Overview The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered physical therapy care. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, performing therapeutic exercises, administering modalities, assisting with wound care, monitoring patient responses, and documenting progress. The PTA provides age-appropriate care across all patient populations, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort while addressing pain management needs. They collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, provide guidance to Physical Therapy Aides, and report safety concerns to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
• Current licensure or temporary permit/license in the practice state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical skills, communication, teamwork, sound judgment, professionalism, and dependability
• Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and backgrounds
