We are searching for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant Hours: 40hrs Shift: Day shift with 1 holiday a year & 1 sat every 6 weeks; 8:00am - 4:30pm Location: VNA Rehab –This is a FT PTA position to cover Seekonk & Rehoboth primarily with Swansea and somerset overflow Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required A Career At Southcoast Health Offers You

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and the Registered Physical Therapist, work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the persons capabilities.

Qualifications

• An Associates Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Two (2) years of related experience required.
• Home care experience preferred.
• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and may be required in Rhode Island, subject to geographic area assignment.
• CPR certification is required.

Pay Range USD $29.58 - USD $40.80 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement 1 holiday a year & 1 sat every 6 wks
