Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions
• Provide hands-on assistance during therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment details while respecting patient confidentiality
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Communicate effectively with patients to promote engagement, comfort, and understanding of their care plans

Experience

• Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy
• Experience working in hospital, outpatient, inpatient, or post-acute care settings is advantageous
• Familiarity with patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques required for safe patient movement
• Strong client communication skills and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality are essential
